There’s something special about a smaller wedding — more time for the people who matter, more room for real moments, fewer of the staged set-pieces. Whether it’s just the two of you eloping among the colleges or a relaxed celebration with your closest family, I photograph the day as it genuinely happens.

Before the big day
An engagement shoot is the perfect rehearsal
A pre-wedding engagement shoot is one of the best things you can do before your wedding. It’s a relaxed way to practise being photographed, meet me properly and get comfortable in front of the camera — so on the day itself, it all feels familiar and easy.
You’ll know exactly what to expect, you’ll feel more relaxed, and we’ll already have a rhythm going. Many couples add one to their package — and a 45-minute pre-wedding shoot is included free with the full-day Ruby package.

Do you cover full-day weddings as well as elopements?
Yes — I photograph everything from intimate elopements and registry-office ceremonies through to full-day celebrations from prep to first dance. Coverage runs from 4 hours (Diamond) up to a full 10-hour day (Ruby), so we can match the package to the size and shape of your day.
A shorter service is also available. Please contact me for a personalised quote.
When will we get our wedding photos?
Within 10 working days — not the 2–3 months that’s standard across the UK wedding industry. Your fully edited gallery arrives in a private online album you can download and share with family anywhere in the world, while the day is still fresh.
We’re nervous in front of the camera. Is that a problem?
Not at all — it’s the most common thing couples tell me. I keep posing light and easy, with gentle direction so you always know what to do. Most couples relax within minutes. A pre-wedding engagement shoot is the perfect way to practise and meet me before the big day.
Can we add a second photographer or extra hours?
Absolutely. A second photographer can be added to any package, and extra hours are available from £150/hr. Just let me know what you have in mind and I’ll fold it into your quote. Professional photobooks from a European print lab are available too.
Do you travel outside Oxford for weddings?
Yes — I’m based in Oxford and regularly photograph weddings across Oxfordshire and the wider South East. Get in touch with your venue and date and I’ll confirm availability and any travel details.
How do we book, and is a deposit required?
Send me your date and venue via the contact page and we’ll arrange a Zoom call to talk it through. A 50% retainer secures your date, with the balance due before the wedding. Popular dates book up well ahead, so earlier is always better.
