Your Oxford portrait walk questions
How long is the portrait walk?
Most walks last about an hour — enough to visit two or three of Oxford’s most beautiful spots at a relaxed pace. If you’d like to cover more of the city or include an outfit change, longer sessions are available.
When and how will I get my photos?
Your fully edited gallery arrives within 10 working days, in a private online album you can download from anywhere in the world — so your photos are waiting for you by the time you’re back home.
How many photos will I receive?
There’s no fixed cap — I include every image worth keeping. From a one-hour walk that’s typically 20–35 photographs; the exact number depends on the route, the pace and how many of you there are.
What happens if it rains?
A little rain is no problem — we can bring an umbrella and carry on. Just check with me first so it fits the colour scheme and concept of your shoot. If heavy rain is forecast we’ll simply reschedule for another day — I keep a close eye on the forecast before every session, so we’ll plan around the weather together.
What should we wear and bring?
I’ll send a short style guide once you book. In general: wear what makes you feel comfortable, bring a layer in case it turns cool, and choose comfortable shoes — Oxford’s lanes are cobbled.
Can you photograph a proposal or special occasion?
Absolutely — surprise proposals are one of my favourite things to capture. Just let me know in advance and I’ll be in position discreetly, so the moment stays entirely yours.
